The A&O Hostel City am Zoo Introduction:

Located in the center of former West-Berlin, just next to the famous international station Zoologischer Garten, the A&O Hostel City am Zoo offers modern and functional accommodations in the city that never sleeps. It is the ideal starting point for shopping trips, and visits to Schloss Charlottenburg and the Tiergarten. At night, you can find excellent bars and restaurants in the small side streets around the Savignyplatz.
Berlin's largest shopping street,the Ku'damm, the historical "Gedächtniskirche" or the Zoo are nearby the hotel.
The hostel features modern 113 single, twin rooms or dormitories.
Guests can choose rooms with a bathroom with shower/WC and without a bathroom. TV is available by request. In single and twin rooms breakfast, bed-linen and towels are included in the price. Non-smoking rooms are available.

Cancellation Policy:


CHECK IN 4 p.m. )
Reserved rooms shall be available for occupancy from 4 p.m. on the agreed day of the client’s arrival. The client shall not be entitled to occupy the room(s) earlier than this.

CHECK OUT 10 a.m. (11 a.m. at the weekend) )
On the agreed day of departure the client must check out of the room by 10 a.m. at the latest. If the client does not check out of the room by that time we will be entitled to charge 50% of the full room rate as published in the price list until 6 p.m. for reason of non-contractual occupation, and if the client checks out of the room after 6 p.m. 100% of the total room rate will be charged. This shall not constitute any contractual claims on the part of the client.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS)
- Until two days prior to arrival till 6 o’clock pm (local time hotel/hostel) free of charge. In case of cancellation afterwards a cancellation fee of 100% of the first night will be charged. In case of non-arrival 100% of booking costs will be charged. It’s the same for short-term bookings, within two days before arrival. - Any discounts or special offers booked through online booking engines are non-cancellable.

By car...

 

Hamburg (North) from Berliner Ring (A10):

Junction Havelland drive straight ahead on A10, direction Schwante. At junction Oranienburg turn onto A111 /

E26, in the direction of Berlin-Reinickendorf. Go straight ahead onto B111. At junction Charlottenburg drive ahead

onto A100. Take the exit road Kaiserdamm. Make a left turn, go across the bridge and make a right turn into Sophie-Charlotten-Straße. Turn left into Kaiserdamm (B2 / B5) and go straight till Ernst-Reuter-Platz (roundabout). Take the first exit (Hardenbergstraße)and after approximately 950 meters turn right into Joachimstaler Straße.

 

Frankfurt/Oder (East) from Berliner Ring (A10):

At junction Spreeau onto A10, direction Berlin/Zentrumm. At intersection Schönefelder Kreuz onto

A113, direction Schönefeld/Zentrum. At junction Treptow onto B96, direction Schönefeld/Neukölln.

In Schönefeld turn onto B179, in the direction of Berlin. Drive straight ahead on A100, in the direction of Tempelhof.

Drive till exit road Wexstraße. Take the exit and make a right turn into Prinzregentenstraße. Turn left into

Durlacher Straße and then right into Bundesallee. Continue driving, this street becomes Joachimstaler Straße after approximately 2 kilometersm.

 

Hannover (West) from Berliner Ring (A10):

At junction Werder go straight onto A10, in the direction of Potsdam. At junction Drewitz make a right turn onto A115, direction

Berlin Zentrum. At intersection Funkturm onto A100, direction Messedamm. Follow A100, direction

Wedding. Use exit road Kaiserdamm. Turn right into Knobelsdorffstraße and right again into

Sophie-Charlotten-Straße. Turn left into Kaiserdamm (B2 / B5) and go ahead until Ernst-Reuter-

Platz (roundabout). Take the first exit (Hardenbergstraße) and after ca. 950 m turn right into Joachimstaler

Straße.

 

By train...

 

Central station DB: Take the S-Bahn, any line, to station Zoologischer Garten (3 stops).

 

By bus...

 

Central Bus Station ZOB: Take the underground line U2 to station Zoologischer Garten (5 stops).

 

By plane...

 

Airport Tegel TXL: Take the bus X9 to station Zoologischer Garten (terminus).

Airport Schönefeld SXF: Take the S-Bahn, line S9, to station Zoologischer Garten (19

stops).

 

From Station Zoo...

 

30 m to walk: From exit Hardenbergplatz turn right and cross Hardenbergstraße. After about 15 meters go up the stairs. You will find our hostel there.
