The Pegasus Hostel Introduction:

Situated just a few minutes away from the infamous Berlin wall, the Pegasus hostel is located in a historical building, that used to be Jewish girls dormitory. Situated in a peaceful neighborhood in the middle of a garden, the hostel offers enjoyable and pleasant accommodations at affordable rates.
The long-distance railway station Ostbahnhof is located close to the hostel.
The hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round.
The hostel receives guests from all over the world, whose average age is in the mid-twenties.

The Pegasus hostel offers 200 beds in bright and peaceful dormitories as well as guestrooms for 2, 3, 4 and 6 persons.

There are wash-basins in each room and showers in every hallway.

To reach the hostel on foot from the Ostbahnhof, it takes about 5 minutes and from the U-Bahn “Weberwiese” about 10 minutes.

By train: From the Hauptbahnhof or from Bahnhof Zoo take the S-Bahn (lines S7/S9/S5) to the Ostbahnhof. Most inter-city trains stop at the Ostbahnhof as well. From Schönefeld airport (SFX): Just board the train (either the RB14 or the RE7, 18 minutes) or the S-Bahn (line S9, 25 minutes) from the airport train station to the Ostbahnhof.

From Tegel airport (TXL): Take the TXL Express Bus to Alexanderplatz and then take the U-Bahn (line U5) to “Weberwiese”.

From the bus station (ZOB): On the bus (M49) you will reach the S-Bahnhof “Savignyplatz”. From there you can take the S-Bahn (lines S7/S9/S5) to the Ostbahnhof. At night: on weekends the U-Bahn and S-Bahn run all night long. On weekdays, the N5 night bus stops right outside the “Weberwiese” U-Bahn station.

By car: From the Autobahn follow the signs for “Zentrum Ost” (Alexanderplatz). From Alexanderplatz just drive east along the Karl-Marx-Allee and after approx. 1.5 km make a right turn into Straße der Pariser Kommune. After 50 meters you will find the Pegasus Hostel on the right-hand side (number 35).
